Presbyterian Support

Provides community-based support for young people and their families/whanau and frail older people. In Christchurch, we provide social work, counselling, group education, falls prevention programmes for older people, and a mentoring programme which matches adult role models with young people. We also run Holly House, a residential and educational facility for young mothers and their babies; Harakeke Club, a day centre for people with memory loss; and Kaha Lodge community housing for people with long-term mental illness. In North Canterbury, we provide day centre facilities for older people, falls prevention, a frozen meal service, home and transport assistance, social work and counselling, and LINK mental health support. Delta Community Support Trust

Supporting people in Shirley/Linwood/Richmond areas who struggle with issues such as unemployment, debt, poor health, mental health issues, phsyical disabilities, social isolcation and addictions. We do so by providing them with food parcels, community meals, relocation services, budgeting advice, support, counselling and advocacy.
